The data you submit will be used in accordance with the Privacy Statements of both the N.W. Posthumus Institute and Utrecht University, the latter as hosting institution of the N.W. Posthumus Institute. These data will only be used for selecting and inviting candidates to the Posthumus Writing Retreat and organising the Writing Retreat in cooperation with the selected accommodation for this retreat. To organise the event, names and dietary requests of selected candidates will be shared with the selected organisation accommodating this event. Data of non-selected participants will be deleted after the start of the event.

In case there will be more applicants than places available, the selection of participants will be based on the selection criteria below:

• PhDs not having participated before will have priority over PhDs who already enjoyed a Posthumus Writing Retreat in the past.
• In case of ex aequo, the decision will also be based on your motivation.
