Call for applications Rijksmuseum Fellowship Programme 2026-2027 – deadline 4 January 2026
The Rijksmuseum Fellowship Programme gives successful candidates the opportunity to conduct part of their research at the museum. The Fellowship Programme aims to support first-rate academic research, to strengthen ties between the Rijksmuseum and universities, and to contribute to the exchange of knowledge.
For 2026/2027, the Rijksmuseum Fellowship Programme is offering three fellowships for the 2026-2027 academic year:
- Johan Huizinga Fellowship historical research on objects from the Rijksmuseum collection
- Migelien Gerritzen Fellowship conservation and scientific research on works of art and historical artifacts.
- Conrad Whelan 42 Fellowship for research in art and cultural history.
