Call for applications CollectieveKracht Master’s Thesis Award 2025 – deadline 31 October 2025

The CollectieveKracht platform is calling for applications for the CollectieveKracht Thesis Award 2025, a prize for the best MA thesis that contributes to understanding or strengthening collective civic initiatives.

The three best entries will receive a cash prize and professional support in making their work accessible and impactful, by having the opportunity to collaborate with the CollectieveKracht team to translate their research into practical formats.

Eligible are MA theses completed in the academic year 2022–2023, 2023–2024, or 2024–2025, written in Dutch or English, and focusingon citizen collectives or a closely related topic (such as commons, cooperatives, participatory governance, collective self-organization, or democratic innovation).

Submissions should contain the full thesis in pdf-format, a Dutch-language summary of max. 800 words, and a brief overview (1 A4 page) of potential ways to share your insights back with citizen collectives or other stakeholders (e.g. workshops, summaries, visuals, presentations, podcasts, etc.). Submissions should be sent ultimately 31 October 2025 via e-mail.
