PhD position ‘The financial lives of immigrants in Antwerp, 1850-1940’ (University of Antwerp) – deadline 5 January 2025
The Department of History in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Antwerp is looking for a full-time (100%) doctoral scholarship holder for research on the financial lives of immigrants in Antwerp, 1850-1940. The candidate will work actively on the preparation and defence of a PhD thesis in History and will analyse the financial behavior of immigrants in Antwerp between 1850 and 1940, using Antwerp’s rich archival sources to document people’s financial behavior.
