Call for Session Papers Rural History Conference 2025 – deadline 15 September 2024

The organisers of the session proposal ‘A Field of One’s Own? Long-Term Analyses of Female Landownership and Land Use’, to be proposed for the Rural History Conference 2025 in Coimbra, Portugal, call for paper proposals for this session.

Overall, the objective of this session is to better understand the long-term dimensions of women’s relationship to land. Rather than polarised positions of women being either significant or insignificant landowners and land users and seeing this as ‘the norm, this session is interested in understanding differences between places and continuities and/or change in this status.

The organisers of this session invite you to send paper titles, short abstracts of 150 words (if available), and their institutional details to Daniel R. Curtis ultimately 15th September 2024. From there the session submission will be completed by 30 September 2024.
