Nominations KHMW Jan Brouwer Scriptieprijzen 2025 – deadline 4 October 2024
The Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen (KHMW) annually awards the Jan Brouwer Scriptieprijzen (Jan Brouwer Thesis awards) to outstanding theses of Master students graduated or graduating in the preceding year. These awards (consisting of a grant of 3,000 euros) are granted in ten different fields of academic research and are funded by the Jan Brouwer Fonds (Jan Brouwer Fund), named after Ir L.E.J. (Jan) Brouwer (1910-1983), former president-director of the N.V. Koninklijke Nederlandsche Petroleum Maatschappij (later known as Shell). In 2025 these grants will be awarded to Master students who graduated in the academic year 2023-2024.
Master theses both in Dutch as well as in English are eligible for these grants. Nominations should be submitted by the supervisors of these students; each supervisor should nominate two students at the most.
