Call for nominations Thirsk-Feinstein PhD Dissertation Prize 2025 – deadline 31 December 2024
In 2008, the Economic History Society (EHS) introduced an annual prize of £1,000 for the best doctoral dissertation in Economic and/or Social History. Nominations for the 2025 edition, to be awarded at the 2025 EHS Conference are welcome. All dissertations must be written in English and must have been awarded during the calendar year preceding the prize (i.e. in 2024).
Initial nominations should be submitted by the student’s supervisor, supported by a copy of the external examiner’s/examiner committee’s report. Nominations for the 2025 should be submitted ultimately 31 December 2024. Details on the nomination and selection procedureS are to be found on the EHS website via the button below.
